Did anyone go out and look for the Spacestation the other night? Me and Conor did and it was supposed to cross the sky at five to seven and honest to God it was the one night that a ton of planes decided to cross the Texas sky! But the one thing to identify it easily is the fact it does not blink! Me and Conor stood there like to egits with cricks in our necks looking up at the night sky when plain as day there it was! Just like a little white ball crossing the sky, it took about five minutes for us to loose sight of it cause we called the rest of them out cause it was rather cool but as we began to loose sight of it I said to Conor imagine there is kids somewhere looking at that and saying my daddy is on that! Thats where my dad works! Its amazing and definately cool! Did anyoe else see it? It's crossing again tonight at 6:15 Central time for those of us here. Look at the Newspaper and see if it gives the time 'cause like I said its kinda cool!!!

A man is dining in a fancy restaurant and there is a gorgeous redhead sitting at the next table. He has been checking her out since he sat down, but lacks the nerve to talk with her. Suddenly she sneezes, and her glass eye comes flying out of its socket toward the man. He reflexively reaches out, grabs it out of the air, and hands it back. 'Oh my, I am so sorry,' the woman says as she pops her eye back in place. 'Let me buy your dinner to make it up to you,' she says. They enjoy a wonderful dinner together, and afterwards they go to the theatre followed by drinks. They talk, they laugh, she shares her deepest dreams and he shares his. She listens. After paying for everything, she asks him if he would like to come to her place for a nightcap and stay for breakfast. They had a wonderful, wonderful time.. The next morning, she cooks a gourmet meal with all the trimmings.. The guy is amazed. Everything had been SO incredible! 'You know,' he said, 'you are the perfect woman. Are you this nice to every guy you meet?' 'No,' she replies. . . Wait for it. . It's coming. . The suspense is killing you, isn't it? She says: 'You just happened to catch my eye.' (Oh shut up, and just forward it!) A man is dining in a fancy restaurant and there is a gorgeous redhead sitting at the next table. Hey to all my fellow neighbours, greetings from sunny & extremely hot Darwin, Australia. I'm the daughter of Gerrard Levins (smokey hill). Think it's about time I checked this website out and said G'day. Those of you who know me I've been travelling since Sept 2007 and I'm currently in Australia. I'm loving the experience and meeting heaps of gr8 people. I would defo recommend it to anyone! you are never too old that's for sure.... I'm been working on Melville Island for the last year and my what a year it's been. The majority of people drive, cycle or commute to work on the bus or whatever, but for me I "fly" to work. Yes fly!! very up there hey! Started out pruning trees, tractor planting, then got onto the research team. From there I was a member of the fire crew, attacking bush fires and after all that I've been given a cruisie last few months with the company as the flights and admin lady. It's been a hell of an experience....But it's time to leave this small Island. I'm heading off in less than 2 weeks to start the trip I have come here to do. Chris, my boyfriend & I are planning on driving the whole of Australia, so as you can imagine I'm well excited. 1st stop is Uluru (Ayer's rock!! It's gonna be great so if you know anyone from Clogherhead who is my side of the world let me know and I might just have to have a stubbie with them!!! I'm still travelling with my buddy Melissa Branigan! She is keeping great and heading off herself very soon with her boy Gavin to travel South America for a few months. We will meet up again on her return. So it's all happening this side of the world for us girls. any news from the village I love so much?? up to date news would be great. If any of you see my parents, Aileen & Gerrard tell them I said hey and I love them. ok hope to hear back from those of you who know me. Keep safe and we'll chat soon x Niamh x |

"1/20/2009 - The end of an erro (W's last day) Jersey shore John, you could have made a fortune selling hot chocolate last week! Fair play to the pilot and the "trolly dollys" got a chance to display their true skills, heros all. Later, mb. Happy MLK jr. day to all. |

It seams like everyone here is busy that's good but Helens the only one getting anything done. Its great to see ST.Michael's bulletins updated. Albert I hope you caught the pictures of those hearty souls charging out from the strand into the sea celebrating ST.Stephens Day. They were up yesterday morn but I couldn't enlarge so they may be down for a fix. As for the swimmers it looked like a nice turn out, we call them Polar Bears. In fact you see we had 155 impromptu Polar Bears on that US Air Airbus earlier today in the Hudson river. Thank God they all survived even the infant. That Airbus looked so out of place floating down the river. That Pilot was the right man in the right place at the right time.

Albert That was very kind of you to say such nice things. The reason I have not visited the page recently is because I am very busy and in future I must make time to keep up to date with all the news from Clogherhead. I have just got back from Ireland and did not have time to visit the village. I have to got over again in the next few weeks and promise myself that I am going to have that walk , down the slip and over by the Little Harbour round the Head and visit the site where Paddy Hodgins grandfather used to live in the 1940s. beside the Big strand. I’m sure you know well the places I want to visit, I want to wish all my new friends including the lovely Helen all the best for 2009 and hope you all have a prosperous and happy year. sean |
