Hi Sean there are a whole load of people who are not into Facebook either but I love it because the majority of my friends are all in other states or counties and when we are all on at the same time its like you are right there chatting, plus the way we are running around these days my friends here in town are easier to find on FB! Some people are into it and some arent! It can be the same on FB you can have an account and not do anything with it but you can stalk everyone elses profile and see what they are doing same as on this site nobody posts but most read ! But still, anyway I am planning on going home with all going well in June so we will see I will let you know as soon as I book the tickets! Have to go to school now so I will talk to you soon!

  Helen,
I occasionally read your posts and lately you write about the lack of visitors to the site.
“What can you do” you write. That reminds me of the singer in “Galway Girl” when he fell in love with a Galway girl, with hair that was black and eyes that were blue.
No I am still at a loss to really understand the reason people write on Facebook. I follow you and other friends but nevertheless am unable to see the point of it. So I must be missing something or maybe I am just stupid.

Lovin the site and the banter. Its many years since I was in Clogher, but have been thinking of making a trip over in the not too distant future. I used to stay with my grandma Margaret Floody of Barrickfield many years ago now. Sadly my dad Tommy died two years ago and I feel that I have lost my ties with Clogher. So its so good to have found this website. Hope you are able to get more people chatting on it, maybe when they start charging for fb you,ll get more people talking on here. God Bless you all in Clogher, hope 2010 is going well for you. x Donna Rogers x

Alberts right that was a little harsh, a lot of people have put a lot of work into this site and its running over the last years and since Facebook arrived in full force not many people come on here any more cause they are all in contact with each other on FB. There used to be great craic on here as well as the few rows but it was fun but time changes everything and the development committee are very busy and would welcome more people interested in keeping the website up to date.

Peter....... its only awful because of people like you who don't bother to post anything ever. You can't even put your name on here.... full name ........... and you can't even be arsed to put a date on your post. There are many people who are/used to be active on here and my "take" on your your comment is that if you can't say anything good then don't say anything at all

Just came on your site by chance. I used to go to Greenhills many moons ago 1970-1975 and had some friends from here that I never had contact with since. They loved basketball like myself. The names were Rita Gargan, Mary Conry and Eunice Haughney. Anyone know of their wherabouts, I dont have one photo of that time, Would love to see one Thanks.

ha ha Brian! Foreigners yis are above there in Almondstown! I reckon there is probably fifteen hundred beyant in the corn field alone! I am sorry to hear the terrible news, it's just so very, very sad. It's kind of hard to come up with anything worthwhile to say except a few prayers for the poor family I suppose.
