Open Day at Parochial House and Church.
The weather shone brightly on all who attended the “Open Day” on Sunday last and a great day was had by all. Fr. Paul Clayton Lee P.P. would like to thank Miriam McCarthy and dancers, Joseph Dunne, Mary Lynch, Leisuretime Ladies, ICA, Owen & Geraldine Kirwan, local scouts, and especially all who donated food, cakes, items for the Bric a Brac and raffle and most especially their time before and on the day. Money raised was €3117. The renovations to both the Church and Parochial House have been carried out with the utmost care and delighted all who viewed them on Sunday last.

New Book on sale.
A book about the old fishing methods of Herring Drifting and Prawn Fishing on Trawlers called “Clogherhead Remembers” is on sale in local shops. The book contains photo’s poems and articles etc connected with fishing. A must for all book readers.
