Gospel Night in aid Of Ferrard Day Centre.
Members of the Gospel Intercultural Musical Group will sing a selection of Songs and Hymns in aid of the Centre on Friday 13th November from 7 p.m. in St. Michael’s Church, Clogherhead. Tickets are €10 each and are available from any committee member and also on the night. This promises to be a great night’s entertainment.

Pulse Race Triathlon.
On Saturday next 8th August, Clogherhead will host the Pulse Triathlon Club’s 1st Triathlon Race at 1 p.m.
The race is being organised by Pulse Triathlon Club volunteers with the Assistance of Clogherhead Coast Guard, Louth County Council, the Garda and Clogherhead Development Group. Starting with a750 metre sea swim followed by a 20 km cycle which commences at the Big Strand car park at Lurganboy and continues to Port-Dunany-Martinscross-Togher-Ardbolies- Hackett’s Cross and back to Lurganboy, followed by a 5km run. Cyclists will be on the course between 1 -4 p.m. Your co-operation would be appreciated at all times especially where there are “Road Closures” from 12 noon – 4 p.m. It is expected that at least 350 competitors will take part. The prize giving and celebrations will be held afterwards at the Community Hall. The races are open to all abilities and for further details please see www.pulsetri.com

On Sunday next the Annual Open Day will take place in the Lifeboat Station starting at 2.p.m. The day will include various stall, games, raffle etc. The tour of the Lifeboat will also be included. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Pulse Race Triathlon.
On Saturday next 8th August, Clogherhead will host the Pulse Triathlon Club’s 1st Triathlon Race at 1 p.m.
The race is being organised by Pulse Triathlon Club volunteers with the Assistance of Clogherhead Coast Guard, Louth County Council, the Garda and Clogherhead Development Group. Starting with a750 metre sea swim followed by a 20 km cycle which commences at the Big Strand car park at Lurganboy and continues to Port-Dunany-Martinscross-Togher-Ardbolies- Hackett’s Cross and back to Lurganboy, followed by a 5km run. Cyclists will be on the course between 1 -4 p.m. Your co-operation would be appreciated at all times especially where there are “Road Closures” from 12 noon – 4 p.m. It is expected that at least 350 competitors will take part. The prize giving and celebrations will be held afterwards at the Community Hall. The races are open to all abilities and for further details please see www.pulsetri.com

Thanks to all who visited the Station on Sunday last for the Annual Open Day and especially those who baked cakes etc. and gave items for the Bric a Brac. Despite the weather not being good it was a great success. Well done to Kim McKenna who guessed the Teddy’s name was “George” and to Niamh Smyth who correctly guessed that there were 145 Lollipops in the jar.

Ferrard Day Centre.
Sincere thanks to all who made the “Whist Drive” so successful on Sunday last. A special thank you to the organisers and all who donated prizes for the raffle.
