On Saturday morning next, The Development Group are filling the new flower planters and beds on the Main Street, harbour Road and at the Church. If you would like to give a hand for an hour or so, please meet with them at Faulkner Fuels at 9 a.m. Any bit of help would be appreciated.

Your dog does Poo.
Yes, they do. You can’t help but notice the little darlings “Droppings” on the roads, footpaths and beach. There are some very responsible dog owners who do pick up the droppings, but the majority of them don’t. Can anyone suggest a way of these people being more responsible for their pets? It’s all very well putting litter bins for “Poo” along the footpaths, the little darlings can’t read the signs or reach the bins.

Clogherhead Lifeboat Station.
On Sunday next 20th June, Mr. & Mrs, Patrick Barrow are allowing The Lifeboat Fundraising Committee to use their beautiful Gardens at Listoke on the Ballymakenny Road. These gardens are a delight to those of you who appreciate flowers etc. Open from 12 noon to 6.p.m. admission is only €10, which also includes refreshments. Plants and Lifeboat memorabilia will also be on sale.
